The incident happened around 2:00 p.m. in the new hospital construction building, which is under construction next to the Sivas Cumhuriyet University campus. Murat Çıtır, who was working as a construction worker, lost his balance and fell to the ground from a height of about 4 meters when he crushed the mold. Other construction workers, who heard the noise, saw Çıtır fell to the ground and informed the health and police teams.
Çırır, who was rushed to the emergency room at Sivas Cumhuriyet University Medical Faculty Hospital by ambulance, was dispatched to the scene and died despite all interventions here.
While it was learned that Murat Çıtır was wearing a helmet during the incident, the possibility that he may have fallen as a result of the unwinding of the rope used for safety reasons is highlighted. After the autopsy at the hospital, Catir’s body was sent to his hometown, Korgan district in Ordu.
